About my work
– In our course induction we wrapped objects. This A1 charcoal composition includes my own and other's items which I found interesting.
– In the same project, I scratched a figure into the paper with a knife and brushed on some silver ink.
- An element of a print which consists of three layers of ink that I produced based on a pattern I found in my sketchbook.
& 5 – I prefer the results of my four-minute sketches as they have no detail except the outline. Drawn on news print.
– Experimentation with paper and wire. After various sketches, I came up with a refined design.
– I abstracted a piece of popcorn, using various media!
& 9 – A project incorporating glass. The final model uses plastic instead, as glass would have taken more time than I had available.
& 11 – ‘Collision’ is my current project in which I have to utilise the words ‘irregular’ and ‘smooth’. Using scrap metal will make it ‘irregular’ and shrink wrapping will result in a smooth finish. I'm really proud of the worksheets in particular as I can't usually draw!
